The Perfect Hot Cocoa Mix

There is nothing better after an afternoon of outdoors winter activities than a cozy cup of hot chocolate! But who wants a cup of artificial flavorings and preservatives? Not me! That is why I make our own shelf stable instant mix. It is super easy, and adaptable to your likes. I prefer Dutch Chocolate Powder, and I like to add Collagen Peptide Powder for a little added protein. You can use any cocoa powder you have on hand, and the collagen is totally optional. Powdered milk can be difficult to find in a grocery store these days for me, so I order it online. Below is a link to everything I used in mine.
Here is the recipe I use:
Ingredients:
2 Cups Powdered Sugar
1 Cup Dutch Chocolate
2 Cups Powdered Milk
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Cup Collagen Peptide Powder (Optional)
Directions:
Whisk all ingredients together in a large bow. Then sift into a second bowl for best results. Store in an airtight container.
